SORTL (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an intelligent document-organization and reminder service accessible through the SORTL mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

By using SORTL, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

• Documents you upload, forward, email, or scan (bills, receipts, contracts, warranties, etc.).

We DO NOT collect:

• Your financial account numbers.
• Your passwords or personal notes inside your phone.
• Content from your WhatsApp other than messages forwarded directly to SORTL.

• Organize documents automatically using AI.
• Provide reminders before important deadlines.
• Generate summaries and insights.

• Documents and extracted data are stored securely in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
• Access is restricted using role-based access controls.
• We never sell your data to third parties.

5. How Long We Retain Your Data

We retain your documents and metadata for as long as your account is active. You may delete any document at any time.

If you delete your account, all documents and metadata are permanently erased within 30 days.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do NOT sell or share your personal information with advertisers.

We only share information with:

• Service providers (e.g., AWS) strictly to run the app.
• Legal authorities only if required by law.

7. AI Processing

Documents are processed using secure AI models. Processing may occur on AWS Bedrock or similar cloud environments. We do not use your documents to train third-party AI models.

8. Your Rights

You may:

• Access your data.
• Correct inaccuracies.
• Delete documents.
• Request account deletion.
• Change permissions at any time.

9. Children’s Privacy

SORTL is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. International Users

Your data may be processed and stored in AWS regions located outside your country. All processing follows this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

We use:

• AES-256 encryption
• Secure document storage
• Access logging and monitoring
• Multi-region redundancy (optional)

No system is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our protections.
